05 silverado driver floor wet.

I switched to weather tech mats. I have the same exact problem in my 2001 silverado. I failed to mention in the video tha. What kind of floor mats do you have.

Water on the driver side floor need to find source qui jan 22 2013 6 28am i m new to this board but found this discussion when searching for exactly the same symptoms for the 2007 silverado crew cab i bought a couple months ago. Snow and salt was getting under the mat and the carpet was all wet underneath. Feb 24 2012 5 57pm. Carpet wet on drivers side.

Sprayed everywhere with the garden hose and couldnt find. I had the premium chevy floor mats in mine and noticed my carpet was getting wet due to the area under the gas pedal not being protected. Pulled up the carpets figure its definatley the big grommet on the drivers side so i caulked it. Now on the passengers side theres no grommet and even more moisture.

My windshield is leaking and does cause my driver side carpet to be wet. I pulled the carpet back to let it dry and could not find a source. Here is the location where water is getting into the cab of my truck and getting the driver side floorboard soaking wet. If not the drain tube could be stopped up and leaking in the floor.

Just pulled the mats out the other day and the carpets smell musty and are moist on both the driver and passenger side. 1999 silverado just noticed carpet soaked on floor is this the windshield leaking. Sent from my sm g935v using tapatalk. Thanks in advance for any help feb 18.
