I wanted to check out my wireless broadband. Toggle menu acer community. I received a warranty replacement battery that also will not charge. Go to device manager expand batteries right click microsoft acpi compliant control method battery select properties and uninstall the driver in driver tab reboot and let windows install the driver then fully charge the battery before start using it let it charge for a longer period.

Will not detect the battery. I replaced the original battery with an aftermarket extra capacity battery. I have an acer aspire one ao756 2840 v2 21. Ac and no battery my acer aspire 4720z boots fine but when i put the battery in it dies after three seconds and the screen flashes bright to dim a couple times before it shuts off.

It is either a motherboard problem bios problem. For 2 days now i m having a problem when it comes to charging my laptop. I m not sure if the problem is the battery or the ac adaptor itself. I saw that it was showing plugged in not charging so i googled and tried the sollution for it uninstalling the battery driver shut down remove battery press and hold power button for 1 minute insert the battery connect the power cord reboot the pc.

Replaced the power board and does the same thing. Well i finally took this one off line power to do some tests in preparation for traveling with this. Try to turn it on with battery in and the amber light blinks 8 times. After about 6 months it too failed to charge.

Acer aspire one d270 288bb charging problem. Put on standby and it was dead a few hours later. I bought 2 new ac adapters and 2 new batteries and can t get the battery to charge bottom line is it has nothing to do with either the charger or battery. Since no has a valid answer to this question i will never buy another acer computer again.

My power supply will run the netbook without the battery. Fix laptop battery not charging plugged in not charging in windows 7 8 10 duration. Got new battery and does the same thing.
